Faraya Natural Bridge

The Faqra Natural Bridge is 38m long and during snow melt a river flows through the bridge. It is also called Kfardebian Natural Bridge, because it is located in Kfardebian district .

The bridge is of quite exceptional size, as the arch is 38m wide, 21m high, and 23m long. It is covered by a 9m thick layer of Jurassic limestone. is located in the Lebanon mountains some 1,620m asl, on the northwest slopes of Mount Sannine (2,548m asl). It is one of the highest town in Lebanon. This area is a popular skiing area with huge amounts of snow during winter. As a result there are decent amounts of melting water.
